Families in Accra
This website is a great resource for families with young children living in Accra, Ghana. The website is free to access and lists all events which are entertaining for young children. It grants access to a calendar which easily displays these events. It also offers profiles on local businesses and business owners. This website always prominently featured my reading events throughout Accra!
Vidya Bookstore
This bookstore is an amazing shop for books, art supplies, and much more. I also collaborated directly with the owner throughout the self-publishing process and so she is a great resource for aspiring authors in Accra. There is a branch in the Labone and Osu areas of Accra.
Copperfield Books
This bookstore is located on Louetta Road in Northwest Houston. It has recently (April 2024) been renovated and is a great resource for local authors in Houston, Texas.
Village Books
This beautiful bookshop is located in The Woodlands, Texas and is always having events for the whole family to enjoy.
